Got a Question? Need Answers? Need Ideas?
WELL LOOK NO FURTHER! See what the Four Leg LIBRARY of content has to offer! Or jump onto the FORUM and ask your questions... Not on the Forum yet? Go and register! Not a member yet? Why not?! Affordable & Expansive Learning to be had! What's new? I have no current hobbies! I did all of the gardening stuff... and I don't know what to occupy my time with next. I guess I should just dive back into work-related things, but it feels odd not to have food to dehydrate, freeze, can, etc. I guess I should work on getting my fitness back up! The 'superior plica' injury in the summer
that kept me from exercising, then the rib injury, then the ankle injury (which is still a bit problematic), and I am finding that I am not as fit and healthy as I used to be... Indeed, I should "Make Laurie Healthy Again!" (And get into winter 'work on the computer mode'). Time to dust off the treadmill computer desk and get back to lifting weights! So, that's it for the
updates... !! On with the show...

FOUR LEG TRAINING VIDEO # 245 IMMUNE MEDIATED POLYARTHRITIS
|
|
Immune Mediated Polyarthritis (IMPA) is a condition in dogs where the immune system mistakenly attacks the synovial membranes of multiple joints, leading to inflammation and arthritis. This video gives just a wee background into what IMPA is and how it's typically treated, and then goes into the thought processing of what you could do to help treat IMPA. Treatment isn't always
about 'fixing' the issue as much as it is about alleviating some of the symptoms that the issues is causing. Check it out the VIDEO!! Login. It should be right there. Or, Go to Video Training, scroll to the bottom and find it there!

The Placenta and Orthopaedic Medicine
|
|
This blog is just a little bit of “Things that make you go Hmm.” A client just had her dog’s elbows injected with PRP and the veterinarian had told her about other options, on down the road if need be, as potential treatments for osteoarthritis. One such therapy is placental extract injection. In fact, the vet was having this done on her own horse. So, I
decided to do a bit of a dive into the research to see what this was about. Keep reading...

Have You Checked it Out?
|
|
For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises.
There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc, etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question
pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!

Have a great week everyone! Until next time... Cheers! Laurie
