Affordable & Expansive Learning to be had! What's new? I am behind, oh so behind! BUT, with a few days off, I am catching up slowly.
On the ranch, calves have all been weaned, except for the babies we will be keeping as replacement cows. In the garden, we have picked everything (except the chard and kale... those guys are the hardiest vegetables on the planet!).
So, we have plenty of processing to do right now!
The ankle is improving, as is the rib - but very slowly!
I guess I need to start thinking about tidying the deck furniture, putting away the hoses, maybe doing some leaf blowing... as snow is forecast for Monday!!! So, that's it for the updates... !! On with the show...

Given the fast-paced nature of business, making swift decisions is often crucial to gaining a competitive advantage and responding to market changes. Neuroplastic Changes in the Brain from Prolonged Head Tilt in Vestibular Disorders: A Deep Dive
|
|
Based on a question that came up on a Vet-Rehab Forum, I was inspired to dig into the research on head tilting in vestibular dogs and neuoplasticity... The vestibular system plays a crucial role in balance and spatial orientation for both humans and animals. When this system malfunctions, such as in cases of vestibular
disorders, symptoms like dizziness, unsteady movement, and a persistent head tilt often arise. These symptoms are not just mechanical; over time, they can lead to neuroplastic changes in the brain as it adapts to the abnormal sensory input. But what exactly happens to the brain during prolonged head tilt, and how does it adjust? Keep reading...

Have You Checked it Out?
|
|
For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises.
There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc, etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question
pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!
