Fresh ideas!
Hey there friends!

So, I am breathing a little easier as both boys are back to school.  Love them to bits, but I can't stand them around that much.  It seems that simply having their presence in the house changes my ability to focus and create.  The girls (a.k.a. the dogs, the cat, & the guinea pig) and I all have our quiet routine:  No radio, no TV, no running to town for something, etc.  I work, they sleep, and we like it that way!

But it got me thinking about how September is a great month to get back to routine and organization and new beginnings.  Remember back to your school days when it meant old friends, new friends, new teachers, new classes, new books, new possibilities, etc?  I'm thinking we need to reclaim that state!  For a number of years now I have felt that fall gives me a chance to breath - there is less of a sense that you 'should' be out there 'making the most of summer'!  Oh the pressure!  No, fall signals that you are okay to stay curled up at home to work or create.  When you go for a walk, it's quieter - and you can think better.  I challenge you to use your Fall season to think and create and just be quiet - without guilt!

Now... I am in a bad habit of talking about my season's aren't I?  Okay for my Aussie, Kiwi, & South African friends... oh boy... how fabulous that spring will be here soon - oh, all the 'new life' and feelings of opportunity.  Hope and inspiration at every turn!  Yeah, yeah... are you buying it?  No?  Well then close your eyes and pretend you are in the Northern Hemisphere for the remainder of the day with our peace and quiet of fall!  And those nearer to the equator?  Oh dear... the drama of having to use sunscreen every day, keeping your legs shaved (ladies), and toes painted (ladies...and men?) year round.  So, you have no real excuse not to stay in a state of 'happy' year round!!!  (P.S.  Real tidbit... lots of Canadian women don't shave their legs in the winter!  True!  Why bother?  I go to the gym - so I do... but now you know!!)

Alrighty, enough of my ramblings!  Enjoy the info presented here!
Cheers,
Laurie

Latest Audio Upload
Your weekly Four Leg Members instalment is UP!  This week I created an audio recording for you regarding Exercise Progressions in Rehab.  This is based on an e-mail question I received...and since the answer was more than a standard typed reply... I decided to turn it into an educational event.  For members, you will find it by going to www.fourleg.com and log into the MEMBERS section, go to MEDIA, and scroll down the list of AUDIO's to find it!
Blog Alert
I have also uploaded a new BLOG.  This one is also based on a question I received about using laser in combination with hot, cold, (or exercise).  Have a read... it could change how you practice - or the 'order' in which you practice!
