Maandag Message!

Welcome to another week of learning!
Hey Everyone!  Welcome to your Monday Message!  Maandag is Afrikaans for Monday... I thought I'd send that one out to our South African friends!  So,  I have to tell you MY most exciting news... I signed up for a seminar.  Not to teach... but to take one!  I'm delighted!  This one is all about Marketing!  I have long wanted to go to a marketing seminar - and all of the ones I've wanted to go to in the past have conflicted with my schedule.  Well this one is only 30 minutes from my house (and I live in the middle of nowhere!).  If is called the Radical Business Intensive - and MY plan is to dedicate the weekend to working on my business - The Canine Fitness Centre.  I have to admit that THIS year, I have put more effort and strategy into being creative and dedicated to FourLeg... and I've not really implemented anything NEW for the Canine Fitness Centre.  (Not exactly true - I did start a Vet-Newsletter)  I am absolutely STOKED about it.  So the instructor sent out homework and being a typical geek - I'm done it already.  The course not until the January 25 - 27 weekend.  I'm sure I'll come back with tons of ideas that I can share as well as use to grow my business upwards and in new directions in 2013!
Wanna see who I'M going to see... click the link below:
Members Video Training
THIS week marks the first in a 3 part (maybe 4... as I have an idea I want to tag onto the end of this) series on Neuro Rehab.  I think a lot of people struggle with the neurologic dog.  Their rehab is not quite so straight forward, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed.  The first part covers PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation)... and you can do A LOT with just this approach!
So members:  You to the website, log in on the Member's Page, click Media on the right hand column, & scroll all the way down to Video Training #23.

New Blog Post
The inspiration for today's blog post came from a question that came in just today (Sunday as I type this).  I thought it was very though-provoking...  And I'd love your feedback!  Tell me what you think... maybe others have different thoughts on this...
Why a TPLO patients would develop excessive internal rotation of the tibia at walk.

Tip for  Life & Aspects Pertaining to FourLeg
So... I was recently asked, "Where can I buy your spinal manual therapy book?"  Good point, as perhaps not everyone is fully aware of all of the pages / content on FourLeg.  If you go to the site, you will find the book and poster available on the PRODUCTS page.

And... It was recently brought up that some of the videos load slowly or stop / pause frequently when watching them.  This is a function of a) your Internet speed & connection or b) How many people are concurrently using your internet host/provider at the time.  My suggestion:  Click the play button under the video title, and then click the play arrow.  Wait a couple of seconds, then his the pause button.  Walk away or do some other computer / non-computer related business.  Then come back to the video (when the grey bar - showing how much has uploaded - is farther along in progress).  Then hit the arrow bar to play.

Another topic is Paypal.  Man, but there are issues with all of the shopping carts out there.  So, currently Paypal is my ONLY way to take payment... and if you are one that has been waiting for a different subscription offer - I can now offer 3-Month subscriptions and (by special request only) 1-Year subscriptions.  The 3-month ones can use the regular sign-up page.  The 1-year ones need to contact me by e-mail.  Just a note about Paypal.  Paypal NEVER sends out an e-mail about your account, unless it is about a transaction you just made.  Better safe than sorry:  1) Never click on a link in a Paypal e-mail.  Go to the site, log in and do what you need to do or look for notifications; 2) If you are unsure about a Paypal e-mail, then forward it to spoof@paypal.com and ask about it.  No system is 100% foolproof, but by following these steps I've never had any issues personally.
Thanks everyone!  Have a great week!
Cheers,

Laurie
