Aloha!!!
Hello Friends!  I am writing to you from Hawaii!  My first time here, and it's beautiful! What have I learned so far?  The day before we came, I was reaching into the car to grab out a shopping bag and felt a little pop in my left shoulder.  It went on to become a very painful biceps tendon (at the location of the bicipital groove).  I could barely sleep that night, I couldn't lift my arm, and it throbbed the entire day of travel down here to Hawaii.  Now I didn't lift anything heavy... and I do work out lifting weights... so I shouldn't really be this fragile!   All I can figure is that the universe is telling me to 'slow down'.  (Guess what?  I'm a closet work-a-holic... without much of a closet!)  So I didn't get all the work done in the airport or on the plane that I had anticipated.  And... now that I'm here - the house we are staying in, doesn't have WiFi... so I am using my iPhone as a personal hot spot (which costs a bit of $$) - so I'm being stingy about using it and checking e-mails as frequently as I would normally (once every 2 days now).  But the moral of the story is that I am being forced to slow down, take it easy, go to bed early... and I think it could be good for me... for now!  (And as soon as I let go of working...well my shoulder feels much better!)  Funny that!

Anyways, here's what I have in store for you this week:
Video Training - Way to Play with E-Stim
Image
I get asked frequently about how I use E-stim.  Do I shave?  Do I worry about motor points?  Do I warm up the animal first? (no...)
Do I use gel?  What kind of electrodes do I use? (carbon)

So have a watch!  (PS  This video is much shorter.  The longer ones take so long to load... sorry folks.  I'll try to keep the next few a bit more manageable in size.)

Okay gang - you know the drill.  Go to the website and MEMBERS Log In at: http://www.fourleg.com/index.php?pid=6

This blog is about end stage rehab and dogs that are not using their leg's 100%!  A great question and hopefully a thought provoking answer!
