So... just really quick - a work about Paypal. If you get an e-mail that looks like it is from Paypal, but it doesn't have a return address of @paypal.com... then it's phishing. Just delete it OR forward it to spoof@paypal.com so that they can proactively work to stop the fraud. Paypal will not send you e-mails for anything other than a transaction you have made. If in question - log into your Paypal account (directly - not by any links) and see your account. They will never send you an e-mail telling you to update your account. And if you have been scammed, then go into your account and change your password ASAP!
However... I am VERY close to getting an alternate credit card service up and running. My web-guy and I have been testing it out this week. Fingers crossed, we'll be able to put it into action over the next couple of weeks! So, for those of you that hate Paypal, you'll be able to make a switch! Yahoo!
