This week for members I have a video on bandaging the rear legs for function.  A while back I read a post on a rehab chat group about how to get a dog to stop externally rotating the leg following a stifle surgery.  The respondent to the post made a valiant effort to describe how to bandage the legs... but it got me thinking - that would be a good video.  So here goes... your video for bandaging the rear legs for function!  Have fun with it!

My week - looking ahead and back!
So, I have been BUSY!  You know what it's like... whenever you are set to go away somewhere - you PAY FOR IT - both ahead of when you go and after... I've worked extra hours & extra shifts over the last few weeks... and they days have been Jam-Packed!

Next week, I go to Montreal for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Congress.  A few meetings, some networking, and meet & greet obligations.  No lectures from me this time (which is occasionally nice!)  So I will get to enjoy a bit of learning.  With every lecture I attend, I love to figure out what I can take away from the lecture.  Often it is a clinical tidbit, sometimes it's a great lecturing or powerpoint presentation technique / style, and sometimes it's a glaring 'what not to do'!  It makes every lecture fun to watch... when you make it about 'what will I learn from this lecture?'
It'll be fun!  I'll let you know if I learn something applicable to canine rehab practice!

Are you not a member yet?  I have to say, I don't understand why not!  For what you get - access to videos, audios, articles, & newsletters (the library of information) plus a weekly educational instalment - it is the most affordable, accessible education you can receive on canine rehab / physio anywhere! 
Maybe you think you won't use it... not a worry - think of it as a library... there when you need it.  And, honestly, that is why I send out the Monday morning mail-outs - reminders to use it.
Maybe you think you don't need it... nonsense!  I always say that even if all you take away from a course is just one little thing that helps you practice better - then it's worth it!  (There is more than ONE little thing on the member's side that will make you better!)
