Re-injury following a muscle strain is a common phenomenon in human sports medicine.  This audio talks about getting my son back to playing football, some research on canine agility injuries, and human research on return to sport and incidence of re-injury (including what seems to reduce the re-injury rates). It's the kind of 'walk through the literature' to draw correlations & conclusions that I like to make!!!
