FourLeg: Saggy Thighs? OCD? Plans, Videos, etc!

What's up?
This past week was busy… we had an intern at the clinic… which always keeps us busy and on our toes.  (You know how it goes... charting has to be a bit better when someone is looking at your notes.  You pay more attention to 'why' you are doing things. And you are explaining more to both the owner and the intern.)  It's all good… but we're a bit more tired by the end of the week.

Next week, I am off to the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Congress in Edmonton (Alberta).  There's not much that goes on 'animal related'.   (Our division is putting on a 'breakfast session' however… so that should increase some of our exposure.)  But essentially, this is my chance to go around and see what is new on the human side.  I'll let you know if I see, hear, read anything brilliantly new to share!

Okay… so better get down to this...

And away we go!

Members' Training Video

So this week, I have Training Video number 77 for you!  Holy smokes…77!  This one is Part 1 of 'Almost everything you ever wanted to know about osteochondritis dessicans'.

Okay… so this one is a little dry… please forgive me!  But it's useful information and really does need to go before part 2… which is what to do with it!  So grab a bowl of popcorn, and settle in for 14 or so magical minutes about OCD!

Got the popcorn… ready to watch now!!
Blog - Weak Adductors
This is a questions & answer series:

"I would be interested in knowing your favourite ( spelled correctly ) exercises for old dogs with weak adductor muscles."

Enjoy the thought processing!

Video's not playing right?
Every week I get a couple of e-mails from members saying that their videos are not playing… and that there is a message that says that they do not have authorization (or something like that).  Anyways, this started to happen about a year ago when I 'secured' the website, and the videos get muddles when you access FourLeg.com via the https prefix vs http prefix (which only occurs when you link from an https site.)

So if you are having issues with the videos… cut and past (or type) directing into your web-browser:  http://www.fourleg.com

That should take care of that!
Lastly...
1.  If you are not a member and want to take part in that Myofascial Triggerpoints Mini Course I offered last month… it is now available online as an "On-Demand" educational webinar (4 parts).  You can purchase it at:   http://fourleg.com/index.php?pid=20 (and if you're a member, it's video training 71 - 74)

2.  Join me at the 8th International Symposium on Veterinary Rehabilitation / Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Oregon (Aug 4 - 8, 2014):  http://www.isvr2014.com

UNTIL NEXT TIME….

CHEERS!
