I just got back from Edmonton (3 hours north of me… PS Canadians tell traveling distance in 'time').
I was attending meetings, going to lectures, sitting at a booth, and presenting at the Canadian Physiotherapy
Association's Annual Congress.
It was a lot of laughing, meeting, greeting, chatting, strategizing, schmoozing… and a little bit of drinking too! (Yes indeed some wine was consumed and a couple of gin and tonic's as well… but some great friendships were formed and others strengthened!)
But it means I'm tired… too
much thinking (yes, 'th' thinking), early mornings, late nights, lots to remember, and that 3 hour drive… plus my legs are really sore from dancing… apparently I have a dancing style that is equivalent to doing thousands of mini-squats in one exercise session!
What I'd like to pass along for you next week (or the one after… no promises) is a few of the clinical pearls I took away from the lectures! So stay
tuned!
Until next time… Cheers!
Laurie
