This week I've put together the first part of a series of videos on Veterinary Surgeries - A PT Perspective (the forelimb).  In having listened to and watched a number of veterinary surgeries, I was always startled by the little things that as a physio I cared about and knew would be important from a rehab perspective during post-op care… that the surgeons were just a tad bit complacent about.  Now, I'm not knocking the surgeons… it's just that the perspectives are so different in regards to what we consider important and how something that seems minor to them can have implications to the rehab team.  So I created this lectures series, not to teach about surgeries, so much as to help the rehab person know what they need to address or be careful of post-operatively.  I hope it's not too dry.  Sorry… but it's needed!
