I have a patient who is about 5 weeks post-op TPLO.  He was doing pretty wells for the initial 2-3 weeks but then he started holding up the leg again.

Reminder...
Read last week's Veterinary VOMIT Newsletter
I know, the title is catchy or shocking or whatever!  BUT, it's a great issue and a lot of work was put into it… so if you've not read it yet… you simply must!

So it has been a good week I think.  I've accomplished quite a bit!  To list the highlights:

  1. Did the online application for university for the oldest son.  We just did two universities so far.  We're hoping to get into Engineering.
  2. Shot all of the videos for the Massage course I've got planned for you!
  3. Have been maintaining my schedule of twice a week to the gym and twice a week to yoga.
  4. I booked myself a massage (it's today - Monday)!  Yahoo!
  5. Inspired to read more / listen more.  Picked up a copy of Success magazine & 2 audio books - biographies!  I'll be so excited to go to work for a while now (loving those long car rides if the audio book is interesting!)
  6. Purchased some gift cards for Christmas using my Visa points.  (I love Christmas, but I hate the huge cash outlay that is the norm.  I LOVE using my Visa points and travel points to buy fun & quirky presents…  I know, gift cards aren't quirky - but they fit in a stocking!)
  7. I am surviving my new hours so far… the longggggg days on Tuesday & Thursday are survivable!  So far so good!

And I have a cool bonus video-audio that came across my desk.  It's not very visually stimulating - so you can do other work while you listen to it.  (Great for cooking dinner to actually!).  THIS one is fascinating.  It's a guy that's both a chiropractor and physiotherapist, and he's discussing how both professions have an over-reliance on the biomechanical theory for manual therapy.  Let me know what you think!

Okay… and that's it for this week!  Have a wonderful & wildly successful week my friends!

Until next time...

Cheers!
