So I bought the Michael Buble Christmas CD.  (Yep, I'm that kind of nerd!)
Dogs are going stir crazy… since walking at this temp is short or non-existent!

Permission to TOUCH granted!
Blog - Grade 3 Patellar Luxation

I recently saw a 6 month old labor doodle pup who has grade 3 LPLs Bilaterally. The surgeon, who is usually very positive supporter of PT/ Rehab, but for this case scenario he is saying “no” to PT due to mal-alignment of the patellar quadricep mechanics, his thinking is that any strengthening/ stretching/ therapeutic ex, may make the pup worse.

Looking for a new course?
You are officially invited to participate in a new course - Here in Calgary (hosted at my clinic) in January (stay and ski afterwards) and taught by a Canadian physiotherapist, Silvia Lavallee:

Acupuncture Points and Meridians Useful for the Treatment of Dogs:
Alternative methods of application and how to apply current ideas of treating the musculoskeletal and fascial system

It's open to anyone with canine rehab training (or at least an Introduction to Canine rehab level of courses).  Space is limited.  It will be of interest to those with acupuncture training or those without… something for everyone.

Thanks for joining me this week!
Cheers!

Laurie

Hello all
I just opened my rehab and acupuncture veterinary clinic in Israel, and I very much want to recommend Laurie Edge-Hughes' FourLeg Rehab Inc site  www.fourleg.com,  It has helped me enormously,  as it covers all you need from marketing/business to rehab info/lessons/ techniques, all in paper, videos and audio which are very well done, very informative and clear. I've been all day watching the videos and reading some of the articles and I am so happy that I subscribed to her site that I want to share it with all of you.
Have a great week!
