FourLeg: My sturdy legs!

The holiday chaos!
What's up?  I hope all of you are doing well.  But if you're going crazy... well, you're not alone!

This can be a really crazy time of year, and I have to admit that I have been feeling overwhelmed already!  There just seems to be far too many commitments, needs, extra things to do, and just too many things to keep track of.

I sure wish there was a 'pause' button that I could press - just so that time stood still while I either caught up or took a breather without getting further behind!  So I'm just trying to get through the next few weeks.  The universe must have known this was coming and that's what compelled me to create your Massage series last month... thus giving me a wee breather in regards to 'content creation' for you folks.

Okay... enough psychological purging!  I'll give you a tip for 'waking up happier & with less stress' at the end of this e-blast incase you suffer the same while preparing for the holiday festivities.

But first, here is what I have for you!

Blog - Rehabbing a birth defect
This week's blog is another interesting Q & A series:

"Another patient question: I have a 3 yr old pit bull owned by a rescue with a congenital limb deformity. It’s a tiny deformed, nonfunctional right front leg that just dangles a bit (think T Rex). The problem is... "
Okay... now I promised you the morning 'sorta meditation' technique to wake up and start your day feeling good.  This comes from the company I signed up for the online meditation training I was taking (Mindvalley)...

The suggestion was that before you get out of bed, think of 5 things that you are grateful for about your work life, then 5 things that you are grateful for about your home life, and then 5 things you are grateful for about yourself.

That last one is hard... and after just a week, I was running out of good things to say I was grateful for about myself and then it came to my head "My sturdy legs".  Ahh ha ha!  Now this is funny - because I hate my legs... but they are indeed 'Sturdy' and they hold me up, and I can do lots of stuff with them.  But they're not skinny enough to get away with wearing a mini-skirt, and they're rather questionable in yoga pants as well!!!  But they are 'sturdy'... so I went with my intuition and decided to give thanks for my 'sturdy' legs!  And because it was comical to me, it really did start my day off on a good foot.  (Good foot... ha ha ha... on my sturdy legs!)

Alrighty, so my sense of humour is deteriorating... and I will let you get to your Monday morning education!

Until next week...  Cheers!
