FourLeg: Patellar Lux... Neuro Video... & Finally my summer can start!

Published: Mon, 07/13/15

And now finally... on to summer holidays!
It's been a busy Spring for me... and with my latest teaching in Portugal complete, I am now officially able to enjoy summer!

There is a mental sigh that occurs when you know that you have a bit of a reprieve from a busy 'to do' list.  For me, that is after an abundance of trips away from home (for teaching or meetings).  And now, I can relax a little and enjoy the summer.  So on that note (and without ideas on what more to share other than the educational information below)... On with the show!
Member's Learning: Tips for testing patellar luxation... and tidbits for addressing the issue!
I have been finding a number of puppies with patellar luxations... big and small.  And I wanted to share some tips on testing.  I like to test in standing... but you have to be clever to do so.  Check out this video and see this nifty tip (and some thoughts / discussion on direction for treatment!

Blog: Neuro Dog Video

So last week, I posted a Question & Answer blog about a neuro dog.  So I thought that this week, I'd follow it up with a nice little video.  This video was sent to me by Dr. Wendy Harley and in my opinion, optimizes much of the fabulous work that we do as rehab professionals.  The owners just wanted a functional dog.  They were told it wouldn't happen... but then along come REHAB to the RESCUE!  And they got a functional dog... not a perfect dog... but a happy functional dog!  And THAT is HUGE!!!  Good job Dr. Wendy!!!

Watch & enjoy!

Hooray Rehab!! Check it out!
This e-blast was written from my cottage while gearing my brain down for summer!  Enjoy the week everyone!

Until next time... Cheers!

P.S. Helpful Hints for members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
P.S.  Don't forget...
Check out the Products page on www.FourLeg.com:  books, a poster, and courses.  And for members, check out the Discounts page after you log in!
