FourLeg: Ebo Thesenopawhat???

The brain needs a little down time
This might sound crazy, but... with the down time in front of me (i.e. I just finished a spring -and early summer - with a whack of teaching & flying), I am most excited about the prospect of creating & learning!

So, I should be excited about gardening, or doing relaxing things, or doing nothing at all... but I am most delighted that I can create some interesting content for all of you without the stress of having to get things done before heading off on a plane!  And that feels very liberating!  Ridiculous, I know!

The other thing I like to do is learn.  I like to watch videos, I buy 'coaching products', and online courses. And I'm really thrilled to perhaps have time to start going through these things!

And to add to the excitement (and busy-ness), we have just gotten city approval for the new location for the Canine Fitness Centre... so we're moving the clinic in the fall.  While that will be chaotic, it will be wonderful to have a new space.  The current space is getting up to 92 degrees Farenheit - indoors - on our warm days!!!  And in the winter, we've had space heaters in every room.  (And don't get me started on the landlord!)  So we are all very excited about the move.  We'll add another treatment room, a dedicated training space, a dedicated exercise space... make some spaces bigger and others smaller... but all in all, we're tickled that it will be a good change!

Okay... so before I get carried away on that tangent...

On with the show!
Member's Learning: FourLegNew 4(4)... Elbow Enthesopathy
Ebo Thesenopa-what???  This is a condition that is lesser known in the veterinary world.  Perhaps akin to "golfers elbow" but perhaps packing a bigger punch.  It could be a stand-alone issue or concomitant with an elbow dysplasia.  Your next elbow patient might just have this!  Read, Learn, & Enjoy!

Blog: Gracilis Tear in a Working Dog

Many of you e-mailed to say that you loved last week's video blog.  I did too.  Please... if you have a similar video that you want to share, please pass it along.  I love to highlight the work of others and share with our group!

TODAY's blog is Q & A about a gracilis tear in a working military dog.  What do you do to get it back to work?

High expectations need high end return to work suggestions!
My arms are aching from my kayak paddling... going to have to eat food that required no hands (or arm muscles) to eat today!  Could be messy!  BUT... check out the view from the kayaks!

Until next time... Cheers!

P.S. Helpful Hints for members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
P.S.  Don't forget...
Check out the Products page on www.FourLeg.com:  books, a poster, and courses.  And for members, check out the Discounts page after you log in!
