Fingers-Crossed Dentistry
No kayaking, no exciting new news, dodged the Tornado that came down near Calgary... and that's all okay!

By the time you are reading this, I am likely sitting in the dentist's chair learning about the pain in my tooth.  I've been having issues with cold sensitivity with an upper molar for about a month now.  Looking back in time, I THINK I can remember biting down on something really really hard and then checking my tooth, but it was intact.  Now I think perhaps I cracked something!  Argh!  I'm too young to have to start having fancy  (expensive) dental work!!!  Hopefully it'll be nothing major.  (Wish me luck!)

Now onto YOU and your learning for the week!
Member's Learning: Video Training 118 -  Adverse Neural Tissue Tension - Part 1
This is a video series that I've wanted to do for you for over a year!  It's been requested and I've finally had the time to put it all together!

So this is part 1 of 3... info on nerves, background on dural / neural tissue tension, and stuff to make you think!

You gotta watch it because you are also going to love watching the next two videos... and you need this one first!!!

Here's how your find it... LOGIN, click Video Training and Scroll all the way down to Video Training 118!

Blog: Those Fatty lumps in the dogs back!

You see them in skinny dogs, fat dogs, and lots of older dogs.  What do you think they are?  Can they be changed?  Hmmm!

TODAY's blog is a Q & A about those fatty lumps you can find along the dogs caudal lumbar spine!

Read to see what I think and PLEASE send me your thoughts or finding regarding this subject as well!

So have a great week everyone!

Until next time... Cheers!

Special Request
I am almost afraid to do this... for fear of a flood of inquiries... but here goes...
A vet that I taught at the last STAAR Conference contacted me to say that she had completed all of her exams, cases & internship to be awarded her CCRP designation.  And she's interested in potentially moving somewhere international to begin her canine rehabilitation career.  So, if you are outside of the USA and looking for a rehab vet to add to your practice, then send an e-mail to Michelle at:
michellemason1@gmail.com.

BTW... I am working on setting up a Forum for FourLeg members within FourLeg.com.  And you'll be able to post this sort of question & request there as well.  Stay tuned!
P.S. Helpful Hints for members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
P.S.  Don't forget...
Check out the Products page on www.FourLeg.com:  books, a poster, and courses.  And for members, check out the Discounts page after you log in!
P.S.  Not a member yet?
Sign up for a Month... cancel at any time... And just see what you think!  There's so much more than you can even imagine in the learning area!!  You really should check it out!
