So this week has been full of craziness... - Kid 1 has graduated grad 12. His banquet was on Friday, his ceremony is Monday (today)
- Kid 2 has been having fun (he's got a great tree fort in a 'bush-field' near our house) and he and a buddy have added all sorts of elevated platforms and walkways, and even a zip-line!
- I've
been madly filming & recording in preparation for being away in Portugal.
- On Friday nobody but me showed up for my yoga class... so instead of yoga I formulated a marketing plan for my Yoga Instructor while we chatted on the deck instead! (Maybe this could be a new FourLeg service!!!)
- We have spent this weekend (Sat & Sunday night) at the cottage. It's our first trip
out. Yep... I think I need this! (And even if I don't... the grass needs cutting and the weeds need pulling!)
- It's 32 degrees celcius... Canadians aren't built for that kind of heat... well okay... not Calgarians anyways!
- Had to go to the doctor on Monday to discuss my recent test results. I was a bit worried... but she only wanted to tell me that my tests were perfect and to ensure that I was feeling better. (I
went in after my SIJ flare up.. because the pain was extending full-way around my pelvis and I wanted to make sure it wasn't' something more sinister.) I guess it's good that she wanted to talk to me in person... but I've been stressing about it for a week now! I think this meeting could have occurred over the phone!
- I wanted to lose 10lbs before summer... but I failed! So bring on the refreshments anyways!
- I think we are almost 'set' for our new clinic location in Calgary... same size but better layout, newer building, more treatment rooms! (Just a wee bit of stress before the fall hits! Ah well, who want's an 'event free life???'

So there you go for this week! I'm off to Portugal on Tuesday to do a 5 Day training as part 3 of a canine physiotherapy certification course over there! I'm looking forward to wine, a bit worried about the heat, and anticipating meeting some fabulous folks!
But then after that, I am not doing any traveling or teaching over the summer! And that will be equally marvellous!
