FourLeg: Public service announcement for every dog owner!

Published: Mon, 08/17/15

Wouldn't you know it...
In trying to make things better...

I had asked my 'web-guy' (his name is Bailey) to upgrade / do what is to be done to make FourLeg.com 'mobile friendly'.  This means that when you login to a website, the website recognizes that you're seeing the site from a mobile device and takes you to a slightly different version of the site.  One that is easier to click around on (supposedly).  So Bailey's been working on that this week.  But today (Sunday as I write this), I went to upload your training video and got an error message.  So something is a wee bit off kilter with this upgrade.  And while Bailey is usually available any day of the week, I've not heard from him today (and I don't want to call the poor guy on his cell phone).  So you'll be getting two e-mails from me!

So onto YOU and PART 1 OF your learning for the week!
Blog: PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT... Something every dog owner should know!

This blog tells a story.  A simple story... but the aha moment that is contains is huge!

I recently had some clients bring their dogs in to me for their regular monthly check up and tune up.  Two fabulous geriatric German Shorthaired Pointers, mom & daughter, who are kept active with regular therapy and who both enjoy going out ‘birding’ now and then.  The owners had mentioned that the elder of the two had caused quite a scare a couple of weeks back.  She had developed a vestibular episode one evening.  Dizziness, balance issues, listing to one side, rapid side to side eye movement, head tilt, and wanting to lie down.

Read more... you must! And then share this blog!!!
So have a great week everyone!

Until next time... Cheers!

Laurie
Had a lovely few hours on Sunday moving a handful of cows
And two new baby calves (this is a fall calving program that my father runs on a micro-scale.  The rest of the 840 cows are on a 'normal' spring calving schedule. Just have to add that in for any of you cow-vets or farm kids out there).  They are all happily into a new field with an abundance of grass!  The girls will be happy!!!
The calves got to ride... but they don't look as impresses as they should be!!!
P.S. Helpful Hints for members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
P.S.  Don't forget...
Check out the Products page on www.FourLeg.com:  books, a poster, and courses.  And for members, check out the Discounts page after you log in!
P.S.  Not a member yet?
