FourLeg: Video Fix, Pumpkin Pie, & Pacing

Happy Thanksgiving Canada!
Mmm, Mmm Turkey & Pumpkin Pie!
So this is Canadian Thanksgiving!  And the food was fabulous!  As I type this, I am fat and bloated!  But it was worth it at the time!  Ahhh.  And, I am thankful for all of you, for my family, friends, dogs & chickens, my clinic partners, staff, & clients.  And I am really hoping to be thankful for the contractor & his crew (including the electrician who seems to be concerned about the timing of our move!

The move.  It's causing me sleepless nights now.  The underwater treadmill moves on Tuesday.  The rest of the clinic will move the following Monday, and business is scheduled to resume on the Tuesday next.  Scared and excited all at the same time!

And just to keep things interesting, I fly out to Santa Barbara, California on Thursday to teach over the weekend.  Nothing like packing it all into one action-packed week!

Anyways, enough of the chit-chat...  Onto YOU and your learning for the week!
Member's Training Videos: FIXED -  Conservative (& Preventative) Management of Medial Patellar Luxation - parts 1 & 2
So, the audio was 'garbage' on those last two videos.  Turns out the microphone wasn't plugged in!!  So I went back through and subtitled the whole thing!  Now, let me tell you, THAT took longer than the original 'shoot'!!!

Apologies for the glitch, and I hope you enjoy the show!

Blog: A pacing dog... what to think?  what to do?

So, this is a Q & A about a dogs with a pacing issue.  I answer the question and then thought about one comment within the Question and it triggered something in my brain to search my computer to discuss 'roached backs' in young dogs.  And there was a blog I wrote about 3 years ago.  So I cut and pasted it as an addendum to this blog - because I think it's good info!

Read, Read, Read... NOW!
So have a great week everyone!

Until next time... Cheers!

Laurie

P.S. Helpful Hints for members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
