FourLeg: PRP... tackling that topic!

It's getting busy now!
This time of year is crazy!
Busy, Busy, Busy!  You know, I forgot to wish all of the American's a Happy Thanksgiving a few weeks back.  I forgot to wish any of you celebrating hanukkah, a Happy Hanukkah! (And why are there about 7 different spelling for it?)  And I don't even know what else I missed!

What I do know is that we have put up our christmas decorations at both the clinic and at home.  Phew!  I am pretty much done my Christmas shopping... maybe some stocking stuffers for hubby and kids, and a pair of cowboy boots for the oldest son (but he has to pick them out... so I have to wait until he's done his final exams)!    Just a bit of baking to do as well!

Check out the picture below!  Finally, a picture of the divider fence that my hubby and I built and stained for at the new clinic.  It feels like so long ago that I promised to include it.  I really liked working with this 'Milk Paint'... I want to take some classes and maybe even redo my entire kitchen!!!  (I'm likely just dreaming... but I'm putting it out there!) Anyways, this is a picture of National Service Dog 'Doc'.  He headed out this past weekend to his advanced training as a service dog.  I was luck enough to meet and work with him twice during his puppyhood!

Anyways, enough of the chit-chat...  On to YOUR learning for this week!
Member's Training Video: PRP 101
The background 'low down' on Platelet Rich Plasma.  This week you get information you need to know about PRP... and the research.  What's been shown, what does it work for, etc.  (And then stay tuned for next week... A Rehab Protocol for PRP-injections.)  BUT, you need to know this first!

FINALLY... Explain it to me!
Blog: A chihuahua with a contracture

Thanks for the great resource in the website!  I have a question; I am currently working with a 6 y/o mn Chihuahua who had bilateral extracapsular luxating patella surgery about 4-5 months ago.  Between complications and his being a weeny, he has major contracture and muscle atrophy of the hamstrings.

BLOG... BLOG... BLOG...!
And a wee little update about the blogs!
I'm working on updating the Blog.  I want it to be more searchable going forwards!  So I've had my Web-guy add in components that will allow me to put tags on the post and make categories.  HOWEVER... I've not had the time to upload that info.  I'll get there!  And it'll be great!  So stay tuned!
So have a great week everyone! (And have a quick check of the info below!)

Until next time... Cheers!

P.S. Helpful Hints for members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
