So, it was touch going back to work, but so many good things are going on right now. We have just finished up our February clinic promotion - Free Nail trims for a dog when they come in for a physio or UWT session. We had lots of takers, a couple of old client reactivations, and a lot more folks knowing that we do nail trims.
And we have our new therapist starting this upcoming week. She's doing part
time dogs and part time, working for my human clinic - Two Hands Physiotherapy. (I'm going to be her first human patient... and I'm super excited that I'll be able to get treated over my lunch hour on Tuesday!)
This past week, my coaching assignment has to been to work on Energy. There is a list of the top things that you can do to increase your energy. I'm already doing most of them, but I'm going to try to increase my water
consumption, be diligent about getting 8 hours of sleep a night, and consistently spend some time meditating. We'll see how this goes!
Now, check out below! Apparently, my videos can maintain an audience with clinic cats as well. This is Bosco at Gotham Veterinary Center! I'm guessing he's plotting what he could do to dogs if he had a shockwave!
Anyways, enough of the chit-chat... On to YOUR
learning for this week!

far, I'd suggest uploading to Youtube, and then posting the link.

Blog: Weird gait - Medial forefoot placement
|
This week is another Q & A:
Greetings Laurie Sorry to be such a rookie but I have a question. I have a client with a three-year-old Samoyed. She's a beauty. We treated her successfully for pinched nerve at c7-t1 and an iliopsoas strain. Once she was pain free, I viewed a video from a training session. Her right front foot "toes-in" slightly as she places it. Drives the client crazy and wants me to fix it. When I
viewed tapes from earlier sessions (before her injury) I noticed that she has always placed her right foot a bit medially as they put her through her paces.

So have a great week everyone!

P.S. Helpful Hints for members... |
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar: http://www.fourleg.com Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the
https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!
As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of
the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site. This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
