And a fascinating blog post! |
BUT FIRST...
So it was a good week for me. At The Canine Fitness Centre, we reinstated our monthly staff meetings. We had stopped them about this time last year when we were busy looking for a new location, and then we were short staffed, and then we began the move, and it's taken until now to resolve the overwhelm.
And I love staff meetings! At a busy clinic like ours, it's a nice way to see everyone and talk with everyone all together!
And things are getting down to the 'crunch' in regards to the STAAR conference (www.staarconference.com) that starts next week. A couple things: 1) If you are coming to my workshop on Interactive Case Management... please feel free to bring a case for us to discuss. We'll have live cases, but this is a great opportunity to
brainstorm and learn on a case that you'd like feedback on. 2) There are only about 1/2 a dozen folks signed up for my Business Reform - Retention, Referrals & Relationships Workshop on the Sunday morning. This is an awesome session, and so many of the folks that attended last year's Business Round Table were thrilled with the discussions. So, if you're not leaving NJ until the afternoon on Sunday, then I highly recommend this class. You'll get lots of one-on-one problem
solving and inspiration for the marketing & managing of your business!
Then lastly, my own coaching session, we discussed psychology and where we have blocks. Upon reflection, I have a block in that I beat myself up that I'm not getting more done! I can finish a huge project, and then immediately I'm hit with everything else I have to do! What we came up with is that I need to reframe my thinking (HAVE to do) and instead I should tell myself "What do I GET
to to next?" We'll see how it goes.
Here's some info / learning opportunity for personal growth if you're interested:
Check out http://growth.com/ . The coaching I'm in is the pilot project and I'm loving it so far, but this is one of Brendon Burchard's platforms for learning & personal growth.
Anyways,
enough of the chit-chat... On to YOUR learning for this week!

Stem Cells and the Nervous system. Now, this is a cool little compilation of studies! Almost to the point that I think that perhaps stem cells should be part of the first line of treatment for spinal cord injuries. Based on what I read, if I were to ever suffer from a spinal
cord injury, I'd be finding out where I could get stem cell treatment!

|
This week, my blog update report contained a number of interesting blogs, and the one that caught my attention the most was a Podcast from www.mikereinhold.com, and it tackled the question of : Should we treat people with asymptomatic movement dysfunctions? Great question, eh?

P.S. Helpful Hints for members... |
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar: http://www.fourleg.com Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the
https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!
As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of
the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site. This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
