You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com. If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom. But for everyone else... HEY! Let's get on with the show! I'm pretty tired... I'm on day 6 of teaching... and I have 2 days to go. So please bear with me, this is going to be short! I'm still in New Jersey teaching at the STAAR Conference! I did a pre-symposium course, and 3 different topics during the symposium and
now I'm leading a post-conference course. So I'm running on adrenaline!
I'll work on getting you an STAAR update for next week!
But in the mean time, here's your learning for this week!

So this week, I am sharing with you two documents that my staff therapists created regarding Casting & Bracing. The first document is a simple listing of supplies and 'To Do's'
for casting. The second document is a handout outlining few simple exercises that could be given to your dog owners to help them know what to do when you have fitted them with the brace. Thank you to Jennifer Gordon & Margaret Kraeling for these! I hope you find these useful! PS... (and check out the discount provided by HERO for

Blog: Pelvic Floor & Bowel Control
|
This week, the blog is a Question & Answer (it's an old one in my files... I"m too tired to write you an original blog this week!)
"Laurie, I just a phone call from one of my favourite vets – he has my patient in with him and his pelvic floor has collapsed (this is what the vet said). He hadn’t had a bowel
movement in 3 days. He was wondering if there is anything I could do for him."

PS Hey Members, sign up on the FORUM

Okay, so I had some questions about about the Forum, and I thought that I should pass on the info to everyone. - The Forum is located on the Members' side of FourLeg, so you'll need to login to find it. Then look over to the right hand column where you normally look up the content, and at the bottom, you'll find Forum. Click it!
- Now, to get on, you need to sign up with a NEW username and password. (Password can be the same as what you you to get into the Member's area). Next time you want 'in', it should remember you.
- Pick a user name that you want to be seen.
- Answer questions. Post questions.
- Sign your posts please... It's nice to reply to a
person by name!
- If you want to post a document or a picture, you can drag it into the message box or scroll down, click attachments, and then 'add files'.
- Videos... I'm still figuring it out. So far, I'd suggest uploading to Youtube, and then posting the link.
And get on there and engage with the community!

P.S. Helpful Hints for members... |
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar: http://www.fourleg.com Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the
https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!
As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of
the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site. This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
