Far Less Sleep Deprived!
So I returned home from New Jersey last Wednesday...
And I slept on the plane, had a nap when I came home and then had 10 full hours of sleep that night!  And FINALLY, I'm starting to feel like myself again!   Getting home was tricky.  I went down with 2 suitcases, because one alone weighed 58 lbs and had to be divided into two suitcases.  Then coming back, I brought home a laser, parts to make an UWT seat, my Therapaw order, and the draw prize I won!  So even with the spare suitcase packed to the brim, the main was was again 58 lbs!! I was no lighter, and had nowhere else to put stuff! So I had to engage in the shameful process of unpacking and repacking there at the luggage counter.  Fortunately, I remembered that my backpack has an extra expansion panel, and I unpacked all of my shoes and stuffed them in there... 8 lbs of shoes!  Ridiculous!

And now that I'm here, I'm itching to start gardening!  It's lovely out!  Summer is definitely early!  (Which means Winter is likely to come early as well!)  So I might as well take advantage of the warm weather now!

Anyways, enough of the chit-chat...  On to YOUR learning for this week!

Blog:  Cool Experiences from the STAAR Conference
So I promised you last week, some updates from the STAAR Conference. It just made sense to put them into a BLOG post for you!  So check out the cool stuff I learned and saw while away!

"So, firstly, I have to say that the STAAR Conference is the most fun and most educational canine rehab conference that you could ever plan to attend!  This year was no exception!  Already there have been so many e-mails and posts about the fabulous time had, and what struck me was how many of the dog-volunteer-owners were right in on it being so appreciative of having their dogs participate!" ...

P.S. Helpful Hints for NEW members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
