Here's what's going on for me...
So, for the last couple of months, I've been trying out a new diet. Okay, it's not really a diet, but more of a 'Here's how you should eat based on some kind of science about what your body needs.' It's called the Bulletproof diet. You can google it, but the BEST part is the coffee in the morning: Butter and purified coconut oil blended into the coffee. AMAZING!!! I
recommend giving it a try!
On Monday this week, I have to head into my clinic to film a spot for a local TV station. These things are always hit and miss, and it is 100% dependent upon whomever is the reporter. So, fingers crossed on this one!
Are you following Four Leg Rehab on Facebook? Here's some of what you're missing... 1. Special needs dog helps people
2. The Canine
Exoskeleton
3. Exercise improves cognition & brain function
This week: Check out the forum! Sign up if you've not done so already! And post a question or reply!
Anyways, enough of the chit-chat... On to YOUR learning for this week!

Blog: Discharge from Rehab, and THEN what?!
|
What do you do when your dog finishes therapy? Do you wish them luck and send them out the door, "Call me if you need me?" or do you organize a maintenance regimen for the dog?
I vote for the second option. Read the blog to understand more!

I'm a hit not only with clinic cats, but also with puppies owned by vets! (thanks for sending this Dr. Nancy Peterson)
And a nice little testimonial Hi Laurie!
I've been meaning to email you to thank you for the great STAAR conference! I've already
"fixed" 3 cases of first rib dysfunction with just the scalene stretch!
But the most remarkable thing happened last night. I was at the local dog club speaking on conditioning (of all things!) when I got a frantic text from the boyfriend about one of our old dogs. Sure enough she had a good case of geriatric vestibulitits. He was distraught and ready to put her down. Ugh! So I did the crazy roll on your back maneuver... and it
worked!! WOW! WOW!! WOW!! She literally got up and started walking around, although a bit wobbly. Good ole' Stella will be with us a little longer. :)
Thank you again! You're the best!
Jan W. So have a great week everyone!
Until next time... Cheers!
Laurie

P.S. Helpful Hints for NEW members... |
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar: http://www.fourleg.com Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on
the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!
As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white
search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site. This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
