FourLeg: PAIN & A Reality Check!!!

Published: Mon, 08/08/16

You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com.  If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom.  But for everyone else... HEY!  Let's get on with the show!
11 days and nothing I HAVE to do and nowhere I HAVE to go!
And that feels GREAT!
I'm feeling blessed right now.  I have 11 days off. I have no idea when I've ever had that much time off in a row! Maybe just before I went on Maternity leave 19 years ago?  I was supposed to be going to Australia to teach this week, but it fell through, and I just never re-opened my days at the clinic.  So here I am with 11 open ended days of marvellous potential!  I love days with the possibility to go any direction!    I have so much to get caught up on and I am looking forward to doing some yard work as well.  (Hopefully the rain will hold off!)

Oh, and just as an update.  Remember last week when I told you all about the client that put up that negative review of my clinic on Facebook?  Well, I went to look for it on Wednesday and it was gone.  So she must have had a dose of reality set in and she took it down.  While I had come around to seeing the silver lining in the negative review, I'm just as happy that she removed it as well!

Anyhoo... enough about me, here's your learning for this week!

But first, a cartoon!

Member's Training Video 146:  Part 1 of Pain Management for the Canine Rehab Professional Course
This has been a while in the making.  So I have an 11 part Pain Management course to 'dribble out' to you over the next few months.  I have really worked hard to turn my old pain management course into smaller more readily consumable components and add in components that I didn't originally teach as well.  And voila!  Here we start!  I'm hoping you find it all very useful and informative!

Blog: REALITY CHECK!!
This week, the blog is a rambling of my thoughts on getting owners to do a reality check when needed.  Not to say that you shouldn't do all that you can to make a dog better, just that sometimes the dog really is as good as he will get, and that's OKAY!

Read on & please send me your thoughts too!

And that's a wrap!  So have a great week everyone!

Until next time... Cheers!

P.S. Helpful Hints for members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
