Fun & Sun! Yahoo! But my computer is having
some major malfunctioning issues. Black screen. Not booting. Freezing! And it 'died' on me in the middle of a presentation. Fortunately, I can wing it... and my notes are great - so everyone can follow along even without the slides. BUT... I am so useless with out a computer! Looks like I have to go to the Genius Bar when I get home!!! Ugh!
Anyhoo... I just fired it up tonight just to see if it would have life and "Woo wee!"
It does ! So I am going to madly type what I can so nobody is disappointed (or angry) on Monday morning because they've not heard from me.
And on another note, my Borzoi Breeder / Friend living in my basement MIGHT be moved out by the time I get back home!!! (I'll believe it when I see it!) She does have a house in Calgary, but moving into it is a whole other thing! I'll have to update you next week. I don't know whether I'll be more
surprise if she actually HAS moved or HAS NOT moved! While it will be nice to reclaim our basement and lives, I think we'll miss her and all of the dogs as well!
Enough about me... and I feel like I'm typing on borrowed time...

Okay, so I had some questions about about the Forum, and I thought that I should pass on the info to everyone. - The Forum is located on the Members' side of FourLeg, so you'll need to login to find it. Then look over to the right hand column where you normally look up the content, and at the bottom, you'll find Forum. Click it!
- Now, to get on, you need
to sign up with a NEW username and password. (Password can be the same as what you you to get into the Member's area). Next time you want 'in', it should remember you.
- Pick a user name that you want displayed.
- Answer questions. Post questions.
- Sign your posts please... It's nice to reply to a person by name!
- If you want to post a document or a picture, you can drag it into the message box or scroll down, click attachments, and then 'add files'.
- Videos... Upload to Youtube and then post the link.
- It's really cool when you sign your name, that way people can respond to you by name. :)
And get on there and engage with the
community!

P.S. Helpful Hints for members... |
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar: http://www.fourleg.com Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on
the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!
As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the
white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site. This is an easy way to find content in all formats! |
