FourLeg: Busy week BATMAN!

Published: Mon, 12/05/16

You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com.  If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom.  But for everyone else... HEY!  Let's get on with the show!
What did I do to myself?!
Holy Smokes...
  • Firstly, WELCOME to all the new FourLeg Members!  And welcome to all the new Friends of FourLeg!
  • It's has been a busy week stuffing envelopes with posters to send to new members and 2 for 1, or 3 for 2 posters to existing members.
  • And just this past weekend, I was at a booth for A Canine Christmas Event.  They're always a mix of 'good for business' and 'so...   much...   work!!!'
  • My football kid and a few of his football friends are now bored with the end of the season.  So they made a curling team!  They're feeling rather cocky because, quote: "We're real athletes."  (So, I'm not sure if I want the other curling kids to feed them a bit of 'humble pie'... or if I want he and his buddies to succeed at this sport.)  Either way, I'm pretty sure I shouldn't turn up to a game and yell "Hit him!"  from the stands!
That's it as a quick 'life in review'...

Now on to YOUR learning for this week!  But first... I wanted to show you his team photo from the front page of the newspaper.  My son is the kid on the bottom row to the left of the plaque with the 'weird all teeth growling kind of smile'  (not sure what expression he was going for there!).

Blog: Functional Exercises to try... (video blog!)
So, here's the video I was trying to upload last week.   A few different exercise ideas that are functional for dogs!

Enjoy the compilation and thank you to Stella Barnett - of Paws in Motion Canine Rehabilitation (in Huntsville, Ontario, Canada) for her additions to this vlog!

P.S. Are you looking for a unique educational opportunity?
Then plan a trip to Calgary in January (21 & 22) and visit The Canine Fitness Centre, where we will be hosting Ilaria Borghese (of Thera-paw & the STAAR Conference), for her awesome 2-day course on Bracing, Splinting, Soft Orthoses... etc!

The Animal Rehab Division of the CPA is opening this course up to non-members!
But space is limited... so be sure to sign up ASAP!

BTW, this was one of the best courses I've ever taken.  I have been waiting YEARS to bring it to Canada.  So excited to have the opportunity to do so now!

P.S. Are you looking to include SHOCKWAVE in your practice?
I have just the thing!  I highly recommend the unit that I have and use at my clinic.  And now, I can bring it to you!

Check out this page:  http://fourleg.com/Shockwave   for more information.

And if you're interested, give me a shout and I'll happily send along all of the details.
RADIAL SHOCKWAVE rules!  I am loving it as an adjunct to my other therapies, and am seeing amazing results with it when used on osteoarthritis, tendinosis lesions, and lumbosacral disc disease.  (There are more things it can treat, but these three things keep it hopping at my clinic!)

The price is right (in Canadian Dollars), and I can ship anywhere in North America.  (For those of you overseas, I can put you in touch with local distributors nearer to you!)

Okay... so check it out if you've ever been interested!
Read More about this kick-butt Radial Shockwave Unit!

P.S.  Don't forget...  PRODUCTS FOR YOUR LEARNING!
Check out the Products (or Discounts) Page on FourLeg.com to get a nifty selection of learning materials.

P.S. Helpful Hints for NEW members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
