Another year put to rest... - Firstly, Happy New Year!
- Secondly, I'm delighted that Christmas is over. We were busy busy busy leading up to Christmas, then family functions, then work, and on my first day off after
Christmas I took THREE naps that day! 3!!! Christmas preparation & events overload. One of my clients suggested that I take my family away next year.... hmmm... very tempting!
- Thirdly, I had a conversation with one of my staff members, and she was complaining about the folks that would get happy that one year was ended and another beginning. Essentially how would things be different - bad things and good things happen
every year. That's true! Every year, I am happy to see it end (but I think it has more to do with the Christmas stress than anything else)!
- But the more I thought about it, I thought that I like the sensation of optimism! And we do have the choice to allow ourselves to get inspired and to try new things, and to build our knowledge or character (or businesses), and to adopt new habits. For example check out my blog
this week - I wrote about my clinic's marketing. The thing I implemented last year was to create monthly promotions. Now I have some monthly promos that are set and ready to roll for the upcoming year, and they definitely helped the clinic finances!
- So feel free to get inspired. You are capable of changing your habits and implementing new and exciting things into your life.

This week, I felt like I should write some kind of a year in review blog, or be inspirational, or something. But I just wasn’t finding my inspiration, until I came upon a blog entitled Business Competencies PTs Need To Know.
The information within THAT blog was good on it's own, but it caused me to think about MY clinic. Specifically, an exercise that
the CRI interns complete when they visit. They are asked to comment on the marketing practices of the clinic... and my list is long.
So, I wrote it out for all of you to see and perhaps be inspired by!

Okay, there are always some questions about about the Forum, and I thought that I should pass on the info to everyone. - To get on, you need to sign up with a NEW username and password. (Password can be the same as what you you to get into the Member's area). Next time you want 'in', it should remember
you.
- Pick a user name that you want to be seen.
- Answer questions. Post questions.
- Sign your posts please... It's nice to reply to a person by name!
- If you want to post
a document or a picture, you can drag it into the message box or scroll down, click attachments, and then 'add files'.
- Videos... Upload to Youtube, and then posting the link.
- Want to be notified when someone answers your question or responded to your comment? Just under the reply box, you can click "notify me when a reply is
posted".
