You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com. If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom. But for everyone else... HEY! Let's get on with the show! Good clinic exposure & down to the wire with course organizing!
It's been a great week! On Monday we had one of the local TV stations come out to the clinic for us to do a feature on Indoor Exercises You Can Do With Your Dog. (Because we've have about 25 days of -20C!) And two of my staff therapists did a fabulous job!
Check out the segment at: or here on Facebook: |
Just throwing it out there, but if you're looking for something to share with your clients as a FB post or an e-blast, this is a good one!
And coming up this week, or next weekend rather. My clinic is hosting the Bracing Course with Ilaria Borghese (of Therapaw & the STAAR Conference). We're all very excited! But I'm getting exhausted with the
planning! It is coming together however! So be prepared that next week my e-blast will say "I'm tired from hosting the Bracing Course!"
And by the way, thanks to everyone that e-mailed or messaged me to say that they liked the 'personal info' I put into these e-blasts! I appreciate that feedback!
Now on
to YOUR learning for this week!

Blog: What's Too Weak? What's Too Tight?
|
This week, I was inspired by another human physio blog. It presents and interesting concept. Something that should make sense and might seem like a 'no brainer'! But I'm willing to bet that the idea(s) presented isn't anything you've really considered.
So check out the blog to think about the correlation between weak glutes & tight iliopsoas AND weak abdominals & tight epaxials! What
else should you be addressing in your patients??
Check it out! Check it out!

P.S. Are you looking to include SHOCKWAVE in your practice?
|
I have just the thing! I highly recommend the unit that I have and use at my clinic. And now, I can bring it to you!
And if you're interested, give me a shout and I'll happily send along all of the details. RADIAL SHOCKWAVE rules! I am loving it as an adjunct to my other therapies, and am seeing amazing results with it when used on osteoarthritis, tendinosis lesions, and lumbosacral disc disease. (There are more things it can treat, but these three things keep it hopping
at my clinic!)
The price is right (in Canadian Dollars), and I can ship anywhere in North America. (For those of you overseas, I can put you in touch with local distributors nearer to you!)
Okay... so check it out if you've ever been interested!

P.S. Helpful Hints for NEW members... |
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar: http://www.fourleg.com Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on
the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!
As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side
of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site. This is an easy way to find content in all formats!
And check out
www.fourleg.com/Help to address any FAQ regarding website or membership difficulties.
