FourLeg: Complexity... & some killer Q & A's

Published: Mon, 02/27/17

You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com.  If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom.  But for everyone else... HEY!  Let's get on with the show!

The end of February already?

So this is the week that we are usually in Hawaii... I'm trying not to get depressed that I am still in cold Canada.  I need to learn to embrace the winter!  Scandinavians are so much better at this!!  I'm trying to channel my 'inner Scandinavian'!  I did put a dog-sledding picture in this e-blast for you to witness my attempt at accepting Winter.

I'm also trying to schedule more 'fun' into my life.  I'm a bit of a work-a-holic.... surprised, right???  So last night (Sunday night) hubby and I went to see the play Kinky Boots.  I saw the movie on a plane years ago and loved it.  I'm hoping the play is equally entertaining!

And February went quickly!  Putting us (on my side of the planet) just that much closer to spring!  Yahoo!

So, on to YOUR learning for this week!

But first, a cartoon!

Blog: Honouring Complexity

The premise of the blog was that humans are complex adaptive systems, and that the system is modified by behaviours.  At any time that we want to impact the system, we are at a different starting point each time.  Additionally, there is a non-linear relationship between cause and effect.  What does that mean when it comes to physical therapy and treatment of ‘living beings’?

Read on to see how this applies to how you apply physical therapy techniques to your canine patients!

P.S. Are you looking to include SHOCKWAVE in your practice?
I have just the thing!  I highly recommend the unit that I have and use at my clinic.  And now, I can bring it to you!

Check out this page:  http://fourleg.com/Shockwave   for more information.

And if you're interested, give me a shout and I'll happily send along all of the details.
RADIAL SHOCKWAVE rules!  I am loving it as an adjunct to my other therapies, and am seeing amazing results with it when used on osteoarthritis, tendinosis lesions, and lumbosacral disc disease.  (There are more things it can treat, but these three things keep it hopping at my clinic!)

The price is right (in Canadian Dollars), and I can ship anywhere in North America.  (For those of you overseas, I can put you in touch with local distributors nearer to you!)

Okay... so check it out if you've ever been interested!

P.S. Helpful Hints for NEW members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!

And check out www.fourleg.com/Help to address any FAQ regarding website or membership difficulties.
