Yes!  If you don't want to smell like cat pee!

My week in review:

This past week has been good, but far less productive than previous weeks!  Oh well, that happens!

This upcoming week, we're babysitting a couple of Borzois, and I'm preparing for a course at my clinic.  I'm not teaching it, but I'm organizing, and need to bring clean dogs!

Now this week, I have Part 10 of the Pain Management Course, a Blog (with action points) for developing puppy rear end weakness... and a very inappropriate cartoon!

P.S. Have you noticed that dogs on "Golden Paste" also stink like cat pee?  Apparently, the trick to avoiding this is adding cinnamon!  Thankfully, cinnamon has some pain relieving properties as well!  Phew!  Good to know and good to pass along!

So, let's just get on with your learning this week!

But first, a cartoon!

Member's Training Video- Nutraceuticals & Natural Medicines in Chronic Pain Management

This was a fun section to research.  I looked for some of the usuals (i.e. glucosamine & omegas) and some of the unusual natural remedies (curcumin & cinnamon).  People are looking and asking questions about natural remedies and you should know answers!  I hope you enjoy this section!

This week's blog I turned into a handout for Members to be able to use when working with puppies.

Blog: Puppy Epiphanies
This blog comes from a conversation with one of my therapist colleagues and it centres around puppies with poor hind end awareness.

Lucky for me, I have a 6-month old puppy living with me this week... and he's a wee bit clueless about his rear end.  Additionally, he has such a sweet personality, that he was a willing model for the photo / video session!

And that's a wrap!  Have a great week ahead everyone!

Until next time... Cheers!
