FourLeg: Oh the shoulder

So much good information!!!

Here's my life in a nutshell:

So, the youngest son had his ACL surgery on the 4th of July last week.  All went well.  Patellar tendon graft, and a repair of the lateral meniscus.  The meniscal repair means that he's in a brace locked in extension for 2+ weeks.  Gosh, I hope he knows a good physio when he comes out of that!!!

We moved a young fellow into our basement on the same day (4th of July).  He's moved to Calgary to take on a new job, but his housing fell through, and I said to his mom, "If he's in a pickle, let me know..."  It's all good.  He's a nice, easy going young man, and he only has a truck load of stuff with him (as compared to the 7 dogs, a household, a business, a the friend that moved in with my Borzoi breeder last summer)!  This is a piece of cake!  (And Barbara, he's been delightful.  You should be  proud Mum!)

And the 4th of July was also my oldest son's birthday.  He's now 20!  Oh my, how did the time fly by?

On a clinic note, we're still waiting for the Endless Pool to arrive.  That will add a whole new level of chaos to life!

And on a local note, the Calgary Stampede has started.  We've got a Yahoo Saddle Up Supplement Sale at the clinic.  The family has been to one Stampede party and a Stampede breakfast already.  And we get to watch rodeo highlights on TV every night!  Good times!

OH... and just to add some spice in my life, I had an emergency appendectomy yesterday morning. But I'm alert enough to get this out to you today!!!

Okay, Okay!  Enough about me, let's just get on with your learning this week!

But first, a cartoon!
