You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com. If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom. But for everyone else... HEY! Let's get on with the show! 4 days teaching... so I'm writing this in advance!! And what's happening these days...
This past weekend I taught 8 Canadian Physios their Advanced Canine Rehab course. It's always very energizing to
be a part of expanding this profession. It was also great to not only teach them content, but give them the opportunity to see and work with so many different kinds of dogs! (38 different dogs in total!!!) From toy poodles to Newfoundlands; Weimaraners to Borzois; Athletes to Neurological!!! And all sorts of owners. (There is always so much to learn... and not just about the techniques!)
So, I'm tired... The course ends on Monday. I might not get to your questions right away! Sorry!
Enough about me, let's just get on with your learning this week!

Blog: Static Stretching - to do or not to do!?
|
Static stretches are often given to (or done
for) patients as a treatment for poor flexibility, or done simply because we think we ‘should’.
The primary thing we need to think about here is ‘what do you think you’re doing’? Do you think you are elongating the muscle? Do you think you are helping the patient accommodate to the sensation of muscle elongation? Perhaps you don’t really think about what you’re doing at
all!

BASIC MANUAL THERAPY FOR THE CANINE SPINE
&
ADVANCED MANUAL THERAPY FOR THE CANINE SPINE
If you are serious about doing canine rehab, you NEED these courses! NEED! You'll never get a dog 'sound' if the lameness is coming from the first rib or a
sacroiliac joint if you don't know to look for the problem or fix it!
And your canine rehab training likely didn't give you sufficient background in manual therapy for the canine spine. So where can you get educated?
ATLAS REHAB FOR CANINES is bringing me down to GORGEOUS Santa Barbara, California!
Note:
- If I didn't teach you in your Canine Rehab Certification program, then you'll need the Basic Manual Therapy course to get you
started. Trust me! And it'll give you tons to work with!
- If you have taken either my Basic Spine course OR I taught you in your Canine Rehab Certification program (and you're using spinal manual therapy), or are a canine rehab trained PT with a manual therapy background, or a vet with Chiro training you can go to the Advanced Spine
Course.
JOIN ME in California for a great educational experience!
