FourLeg: Where are the choices?? And Q & A

Published: Mon, 10/23/17

You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com.  If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom.  But for everyone else... HEY!  Let's get on with the show!

Happy California Sunshine!!!
And a bit of technical difficulties!

I have to admit, I have a bit of trouble getting to all of the questions, and obligations I have coming in while away teaching.  But I really enjoy the teaching of people face to face... I'm always left invigorated and charged by it!

And on top of that, the weather has been fabulous here in Santa Barbara!  I just finished the Basic Manual Therapy for the Canine Spine course with one group of students, and have launched into the Advanced course now with the next group.

The hubby is home alone with just the dogs to keep him company.  I think its his first time (for quite some time), being home without any kids in the house to 'attend to' of 'keep track of' while I've been away teaching.  He seems to be handling it well from what I can tell!  (I should have given him a longer 'to do' list!!!)

AND AS FOR THE TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES... As I sit here on Sunday night, and just about to upload the blog... I can't get into the admin side of my website!!!  So, the forum, I updated 2 days ago.  This e-blast I created at the same time. AND, I wrote the blog then as well.  But today... Today, I can't get into my admin page to upload the blog.  APOLOGIES!  My webguy will likely have it functioning by tomorrow, and then I'll put it up for you!

But enough about me, onto YOUR learning for this week!

BLOG: Choices!  Where have all the choices gone?
Multiple Modalities
Veterinary Medicine has progressed and expanded exponentially over the last several decades.  The options available to our pets are astounding, from top of the line surgeries, to cancer treatments, from fancy diagnostics, to a whole host of pharmaceuticals.  But, has the baby been thrown out with the bath water?  Is going bigger, fanciers, (and more expensive) always the best option?  Or are some dogs not being served because a whole host of options aren’t even being presented?

Where am I going with this?  While conversing with a table of veterinarians out here in California, we got onto the topics of “Standards of Care”, and the differences between big city and small town vet medicine, ‘why’ some vets are dissatisfied with general practice, and ‘why’ some vets choose to go into rehab.  All very interesting.  But here’s the points I want to make:

I have just the thing!  I highly recommend the unit that I have and use at my clinic.  And now, I can bring it to you!

Check out this page:  http://fourleg.com/Shockwave   for more information.

And if you're interested, give me a shout and I'll happily send along all of the details.
RADIAL SHOCKWAVE rules!  I am loving it as an adjunct to my other therapies, and am seeing amazing results with it when used on osteoarthritis, tendinosis lesions, and lumbosacral disc disease.  (There are more things it can treat, but these three things keep it hopping at my clinic!)

The price is right (in Canadian Dollars), and I can ship anywhere in North America.  (For those of you overseas, I can put you in touch with local distributors nearer to you!)

Okay... so check it out if you've ever been interested!

P.S. Helpful Hints for NEW members...
If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having any issues with watching the videos, you will want to cut and paste the following url into your browser bar:
http://www.fourleg.com
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the website (https:), and takes them to the site via that prefix... but the rest of the pages aren't secured, only the sign up page... and if you go to watch the videos on the https:... site, then it won't allow you to watch them. So going to the http:// version will make everything turn out okay!!!

As members, If you are wanting to search a topic... then locate the white search bar in upper right hand side of the screen when you log in & are on the members' side of the site.  This is an easy way to find content in all formats!

And check out www.fourleg.com/Help to address any FAQ regarding website or membership difficulties.
