You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com. If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom. But for everyone else... HEY! Let's get on with the show! Something for our Southern Hemisphere friends!! This weekly instalment of Four Leg... you have a great, thought provoking blog on whether or not you should consider lasering an osteosarcoma lesion... and for our
southern hemisphere folks - a newsletter dedicated to Hot Weather, and management of dogs / heat stroke, etc. (For those of us freezing our butts off up north, I'm going to assume you're partially snowed in and would like nothing better than to read about 'warm weather problems' while cozied up next to the fire!)
In my NEW 'alternate life'... we sorted cows on Friday. My legs and arms are
killing me (trudging through deep snow and waving at cows to get them going in the right direction.) I was almost run over by the same cow twice during the affair!! And if she knows english, she knows I was not happy with her! We have baby calves in all 3 calving areas... and the guys are having to plow patches of snow to create locations where the poor momma cows can calve out!
And in my regular 'alternate life'... the clinic staffing upheaval has turned out remarkably well. So, that's a positive! I need something to balance out the stress. Oh, and as well, when my business partner is back from her holidays next week... we can start filling our Endless Pool! (okay, maybe I spoke about reduced stress too soon!) Stay tuned!
Okay, enough about me, let's just get on with your learning this week!

Blog: Can I laser an Osteosarcoma? |
|
Another fabulous GUEST BLOG by Peter Jenkins, MBA, of Spectravet Lasers. This topic came up in a Facebook discussion group. People had thoughts and opinions based on what is traditionally spouted. I brought up that I have used it for pain management - and tell owners the potential risks... but by then they are really looking for pain management (for which it helps!). Then Peter
posted this response. I asked him if I could share it with all of you, and he graciously said 'yes'.
So please have a read!
