You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com. If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom. But for everyone else... HEY! Let's get on with the show! The house is actually staying clean
This past week, the cleaning lady came! AND... other than dog hair, the house is staying clean for longer without boys messing it up promptly! #SilverLining
My rescue Borzoi is in kidney failure... so I'm doing SubQ fluids and kidney food. This morning she was very perky. But it sucks when you know too
much about a condition.
And as soon at September 1st hit, the weather has become decidedly Fall-like. Ah well, I'll go with the silver lining of 'no more mosquitos!'

BLOG: To Brace or Not to Brace...
Is that the question?
|
|
So, a topic about bracing popped up on a Facebook group I’m on. Essentially, a rehab vet was asking about others’ opinions on bracing for cruciate deficiency, as she had been on a different page where vets were knocking down the use of a
brace. Apparently one vet on the other group had stated that she had heard that dogs in a brace have no quality of life and can’t run and play, so what’s the point?
Oh my goodness! Read on...

For over a year now, I've been working with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a prescription exercise website for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much! Massage, owner-friendly joint
therapies, exercises, advisement, etc, etc.
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get
sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!

Have a great week everyone!
Until next time... Cheers!

P.S. Are you looking to include SHOCKWAVE in your practice?
|
I have just the thing! I highly recommend the unit that I have and use at my clinic. And now, I can bring it to you!
And if you're interested, give me a shout and I'll happily send along all of the details. RADIAL SHOCKWAVE rules! I am loving it as an adjunct to my other therapies, and am seeing amazing results with it when used on osteoarthritis, tendinosis lesions, and lumbosacral disc disease. (There are more things it can treat, but these three things keep it hopping
at my clinic!)
The price is right (in Canadian Dollars), and I can ship anywhere in North America. (For those of you overseas, I can put you in touch with local distributors nearer to you!)
Okay... so check it out if you've ever been interested!

P.S. Helpful Hints for NEW Members...
1. If you are new to FourLeg and happen to be having issues with watching the videos, you will
want to cut and paste the following URL into your browser bar:
Sometimes after people sign up on the secure page on FourLeg, their computer remembers the secure address for the
website (i.e. https:// etc), and it takes them to the site with THAT prefix. The rest of the site isn't 'secured, only the sign up page. So, the website thinks you are trying to watch a video from unauthorized site.
2. As a member, if you want to search a particular topic, then find the little white
search bar on the upper right hand corner of the page (after you log in as a member). Type in your search and be given a full listing of content related to your search words!
3. And, if you have any issues, check out WWW.FOURLEG.COM/Help to address any FAQs regarding the website or membership difficulties!
