You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com. If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom. But for everyone else... HEY! Let's get on with the show! I could write a country and western song This week... your learning includes: 1) Cerebellar Ataxia - part 2 and 2) Case of the bulging
epaxials
But in regards to my life... I could write a song. We had to put down my dog in kidney failure (she stopped eating completely), sent the steer calves off to their buyer, spent the whole week creating lectures for my friends in Australia, it snowed again (!), and the furnace broke down on Saturday night.
And this upcoming week, I have to do a presentation to the National Energy Board in regards to a pipeline they want to put across our land, then fly out the next day to go teach in California. (I think I deserve some warmth and sunshine!)
Okay, enough about me, let's just get on with your learning this
week!
Four Leg Members' Video Training: Cerebellar Ataxia - Part 2
|
|
Welcome back to your Cerebellar Ataxia learning! Presenting part 2 - What Rehab Can Do for the Cerebellar Ataxia patient! You see, I had this cute little patient diagnosed with cerebellar ataxia. So, in order to come up with a plan of how to treat her, I had to search the literature to find out 'What do physios do to
treat humans with cerebellar ataxia?' I had never worked in a setting where I was ever in charge of treating anyone with this.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this compilation and it help
to get your mind spinning about what you could offer your next Cerebellar-Related Wobbly patient!

Blog: A Case of Bulging Epaxials
|
|
In this blog, I want to share a bit of a theory with everyone. Okay, so you’ve all seen (or felt) those older dogs, with tight, thick epaxial muscles in the lumbar spine. I jokingly call them ‘beer cans’…
because sometimes they can be that size! I have a theory about them and what they mean. Here we go! Continue reading by clicking on the pic or the link below!

I've put all of my exercises (and some of yours) onto a handy platform - Physiotec! It's a wonderful online resource for delivering home exercise / advice programs.
There are HUNDREDS of exercises FOURLEGEXERCISE.COM already! You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the
exercises. There's so much! Massage, Owner-friendly joint therapies, Exercises, Advisement, etc, etc.
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by / billed for separately, by... Physiotec... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains
to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
GO THERE... CHECK IT OUT!
