You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com. If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom. But for everyone else... HEY! Let's get on with the show! Babies, The Best Chicken, & Novel Treatments!!
It's calving season on the ranch.
We've only just begun, and have about 8 baby calves on the ground so far. Hubby and the hired hands are kicking into high gear! (The best part for me... is that because hubby is doing 2am checks for the heifers, he is voluntarily sleeping on the couch. And I am getting GREAT sleep!)
I've been asked how our 'pet chicken' has done over the winter. Well, "Shower chicken" is out and about again. She is getting very 'house friendly'. Here she is competing with the Shelties for cheerios and other 'dropping from the human above'! (If the door is open, she walks right in!!!)
Enough about me, let's just get on with your learning this week!

Blog:
Joint and Tissue Flossing -
Could we use this in dogs?
|
|
Here's another crazy blog. This one based on some Facebook chatter on the FourLeg Facebook page. (Hey, have you liked FourLeg on Facebook yet? Do it! There's some good posts there!) Okay, so this blog is about tissue and joint flossing. (To be honest, I think it's a poor name for what it
entails...) As the pictures show, it's the wrapping of thick latex bands around an appendage before a short bout of exercise. What's the science? What's the premise? Could we use it for dogs? Have a read (and as always, feel free to share your thoughts!)
k below to get reading now!!!

I've put all of my exercises (and some of yours) onto a handy platform - Physiotec! It's a wonderful online resource for delivering home exercise / advice programs.
There are HUNDREDS of exercises FOURLEGEXERCISE.COM already! You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the
exercises. There's so much! Massage, Owner-friendly joint therapies, Exercises, Advisement, etc, etc.
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by / billed for separately, by... Physiotec... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains
to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
