You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com. If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom. But for everyone else... HEY! Let's get on with the show! But I had a little time...
This week, I took Saturday off... thus giving me 4 days in a row 'off'. I should be giddy! I should go somewhere! I should do something! In fact my office manager said... Make sure you don't work on Saturday! So Saturday rolls around, and I have no hobbies, I have no desire to go shopping, snow puts a damper on yard work, and hubby is calving cows and doing the 2 am check... so we can't go to the cottage (and it's
not fun to go on your own... I'd have to make my own gin & tonics, and barbecue my own meals... that's not fun!) So, I wrote 3 blog posts, I edited a political letter, I went through e-mails (while walking on the treadmill), I scheduled some Facebook posts, I recorded the audio that members get today, I edited and wrote some of the articles
for the next FourLeg newsletter, and I'm okay with that. I guess that is my fun! So instead of thinking that I somehow failed my time off... I will cut myself some slack and revel in how much I got done. C'est la vie!
Enough about me, let's just get on with your learning this week!

What Do You Do?
(Business & Marketing Audio # 22)
|
|
This audio is sparked from a number of conversations & discussions I've partaken in lately. What do you do... When the referring vet won't let you start rehab for 8 weeks? When you send a dog back to the surgeon but get 'blown off' that it's not a problem? When your supervisor / boss is wrong in their recommendations?
When the vet surgeon tells YOUR patient to come to their facility for rehab? And so on... Listen in for my thoughts, and some of the conundrums we are all facing!

Pinched Nerve in the Neck
& Traction
|
|
Pinched nerves can cause lameness and offloading of a limb. In people we call pain that runs down a limb, ‘a radiculopathy’. Dogs would surely have the same… if they could talk! However, offloading a limb and lameness might be doggy signs of a pinched nerve.
I had two cases come by this week that made me suspect pinched nerves or nerve root impingement. The only trouble is that in both cases, neither of them have neck pain. >>> (keep reading, by going to the blog)

I've put all of my exercises (and some of yours) onto a handy platform - Physiotec! It's a wonderful online resource for delivering home exercise / advice programs.
There are HUNDREDS of exercises FOURLEGEXERCISE.COM already! You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the
exercises. There's so much! Massage, Owner-friendly joint therapies, Exercises, Advisement, etc, etc.
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by / billed for separately, by... Physiotec... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains
to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
