You are receiving this e-blast because you signed up for these e-blasts on FourLeg.com. If for some reason, this makes you unhappy... then unsubscribe at the bottom. But for everyone else... HEY! Let's get on with the show! Today is my Birthday... I'm now in the double digits!! ;) Oh boy!
Other than that! I'm still coughing out the last of the American germs I acquired while at the STAAR conference. It's really hanging on!
Last week I treated myself... a hair cut, a pedicure, and a massage!
My yard is shaping up too; the grass is mowed, and old leaves & branches hauled away! And I planted a few things in the garden on Mother's Day! All in all a pretty good week!
Enough about me, let's just get on with your learning this week!

in Animal Rehab & Complementary Care

Hey folks! So, this is a very different newsletter. This one is all about things such as veterinary perceptions about the practice of animal rehab or complementary healthcare practices. It looks at education in complementary therapies, as well as interprofessional practice and the
public’s use of allied health care practitioners. Lots of interesting stuff and different things to think about when it comes to all of us working together! Enjoy the read!

Blog:
Customer Relations versus Policy
|
|
The premise of this blog hinges on when and whether to make an exception to the rule for the purpose of maintaining customer relations or whether to stick to policy and ‘teach a lesson’. So, here’s an interesting story. It comes from a client of mine and pertains to her experience with a human physio clinic she attends for her carpal tunnel syndrome.

I've put all of my exercises (and some of yours) onto a handy platform - Physiotec! It's a wonderful online resource for delivering home exercise / advice programs.
There are HUNDREDS of exercises FOURLEGEXERCISE.COM already! You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the
exercises. There's so much! Massage, Owner-friendly joint therapies, Exercises, Advisement, etc, etc.
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by / billed for separately, by... Physiotec... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains
to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
