Asking for help...

More wiggling continued...

And bed jumping...

So life is a bit topsy-turvy since my husband's carcinoid tumour diagnosis. I'm having a really hard time getting stuff done or focusing on anything else! I sit at the computer and find myself diving into research, and the next thing I know I'm purchasing essential oils or herbal teas, etc. No other updates, other than he feels 'normal' thankfully. We're loading him up with every vegetable on the planet it seems, doing time restricted feeding (working our way to fasting...), acupuncture, PEMF, energy healing, meditation, grounding, supplementing with appropriate vitamins and minerals... and so on, while we wait for the specialist appointment.

Which gets me to the part about ASKING FOR HELP.

I am totally time-deficient. So I'm reaching out!

Help me to create some content! This time, I'm asking for the following:

Do you have a favourite exercise, trick, or tip that you've found beneficial with your patients? Would you be willing to share that with others?
Send me a little video of that 'thing'. Please include (either within the video or in writing) who you are and where you're from (business/clinic & location) and a description of your exercise, trick, or tip, and why you find it to be so fabulous.
Let me highlight you! Share with colleagues! And win stuff! (I don't know what yet... I'll figure that out... It'll be FourLeg Stuff of some sort!)

So, where am I going with this? Well, it begins with a story that comes from a client of mine. She has an 11-year-old poodle with previous agility training that has had issues with a stifle joint (surgical repair of an MPL and CCL tear). Recovery from the surgery was slow, but she’s much better now, except that when she comes in I am always finding something in the axial skeleton to fix.

I've put all of my exercises (and some of yours) onto a handy platform - Physiotec! It's a wonderful online resource for delivering home exercise / advice programs.

There are HUNDREDS of exercises FOURLEGEXERCISE.COM already! You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much! Massage, Owner-friendly joint therapies, Exercises, Advisement, etc, etc.

NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by / billed for separately, by... Physiotec... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)

Forum info

Okay, so I had some questions about about the Forum, and I thought that I should pass on the info to everyone.

The Forum is located on the Members' side of FourLeg, so you'll need to login to find it. Then look over to the right hand column where you normally look up the content, and at the bottom, you'll find Forum. Click it!
Now, to get on, you need to sign up with a NEW username and password. (Password can be the same as what you you to get into the Member's area). Next time you want 'in', it should remember you.
Pick a user name that you want displayed.
Answer questions. Post questions.
Sign your posts please... It's nice to reply to a person by name!
If you want to post a document or a picture, you can drag it into the message box or scroll down, click attachments, and then 'add files'.
Videos... Upload to Youtube and then post the link.
It's really cool when you sign your name, that way people can respond to you by name. :)

And get on there and engage with the community!
