Life update:
This past week we had a phone consultation with a Oncology Naturopath. It was good. We quite liked this guy. He's from BC, and is famously the 'Naturopath that cured Cheech - of Cheech & Chong - of cancer'. That's not why we chose him... just word of mouth, and the fact that he likes to reference research papers, so he's good in my books. So, we're able to take Peter off of some things, increase doses of other. (We need to
put him on a waaay higher dose of CBD - fortunately, we can source a lot of good products that are made from hemp, so as to take the THC content down to about zero!) Anyways, he's still feeling good. He gets his first shot of octreotide on Monday, and he has two additional tests the following week.
So, that's where I'm at. Again, I'll apologize in advance if I don't respond to your e-mails in a timely manner.
PS... I'll remind folks that I'd LOVE any little videos you can send me that I could use as training videos. Quick tips. Things you like. Thoughts, advice, etc. I'm having troubles keeping up. Thank you.

I found a really great blog post. It was called 5 things you should never say to a patient. The information is immediately applicable to those of us working with animals as well. Let’s dive in.
- “The biceps tendon originates from the supraglenoid tubercle…” Okay, Brainiac! Nobody else cares how much you know. They need you to explain it to them in a language they can understand. So, try to come up with ways to explain things in simple, descriptive terms. Use visuals. Remember that part of your goal is to connect with your patients, not show off your knowledge or how many big words you know!
Now, don’t dumb it down to the point that you’re just glossing over everything, but learn to play to your audience.

- To get on, you need to sign up with a NEW username and password. (Password can be the same as what you you to get into the Member's area). Next time you want 'in', it should remember you.
- Pick a user name that you want to be seen.
- Answer questions. Post questions.
- Sign your posts please... It's nice to reply to a person by name!
- If you want to post a document or a picture, you can drag it into the message box or scroll down, click attachments, and then 'add files'.
- Videos... Upload to Youtube, and then posting the link.

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies,
exercises, advisement, etc, etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted,
because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
