Well, as you read this, I'm in Santa Barbara, California. Teaching a course, and soaking up as much sunshine as possible before the realities of Canadian winter take hold! I'm taking suggestions for Netflix or Amazon Prime series to consume!! ;)
Hubby's scan results came back. Nothing in the heart, lungs, brain... but it picked up mets in his pelvis and femurs that we didn't know about. To be honest, I didn't know that these neuroendocrine tumours could go bone! Anyways! We now know where we need to direct the healing thoughts, energy, PEMF, laser, etc. So, it's better than not knowing. If you have magic, energy, or prayers... I'm accepting all of the above!
We're feeling optimistic about the battle.
Oh, and my youngest son is getting a puppy in early November! So, I'm going to be a Grandma too!

Last week we talked about (and you watched videos on) whole body vibration. That was a nice little addition to the 3-part Vibration Platform video series I had for Four Leg members. This week, I came upon a paper on localized vibration for muscle strength.
Alghadir, A.H. et al. Effect of localised vibration on muscle strength in healthy adults: a systematic review. Physiotherapy , 2018, 104(1): 18 – 24.

Essentially, they looked at papers that used localized vibration (not whole body) where the researcher measured muscle strength as the outcome.

- To get on, you need to sign up with a NEW username and password. (Password can be the same as what you you to get into the Member's area). Next time you want 'in', it should remember you.
- Pick a user name that you want to be seen.

- Sign your posts please... It's nice to reply to a person by name!
- If you want to post a document or a picture, you can drag it into the message box or scroll down, click attachments, and then 'add files'.

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies,
exercises, advisement, etc, etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted,
because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
