It was a good week for me.
I started the week by going for a Visceral Manipulation treatment. Apologies in advance... I'm about to divulge too much information... but I have had troubles with constipation ever since my appendectomy 2.5 years ago. So I went to see this therapist, and it was so worthwhile! I've felt really good ever since... and 'things' have normalized in regards to my digestion! Yay me!
Then I went with hubby to his appointment at the neuroendocrine clinic to see the surgeon. (We didn't know why, since we've been told that his tumours are inoperable.) Anyways, bait and switch. We never saw her. We saw a different neuroendocrine specialist... and basically, they wrote requisitions for some basic tests and they don't want to see him for 6 months. That's fine. We're working with the naturopath and the energy
healer and that gives us 6 months to see if we are making a difference!
I bought a Christmas tree. And... our Shockwave broke down at the clinic. But before sending it off for servicing with the company, I brought it home for my hubby to look at. And... he fixed it!!!! Yahoo! Happy dance! #marryamechanic #handyguysarethebest #Whatahugerelief!
So, a good week for sure!

So, the balls, peanuts, donuts, and discs are commonly used in canine rehab and in canine fitness training protocols. Is there research to back up their use? Well no! However, I found an interesting (and I think, related) article from humans!

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc,
etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the
Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
