The life updates:
Everything is crazy right now. I'm still working. Updating protocols daily. I'm busy. I'm stressed. But I'm managing.
All in all, I'm hanging in. I've started drinking again however. I did a test drive on Gin and Kombucha! (My homemade Kombucha... the last batch was ginger and cinnamon. Super yummy!) Anyways, G&K is great (and healthy!) Ha ha!
#MyNewHobby
Hang in there my friends!!! That's all the updates I feel energized enough to share!!! I want at least part of this day not to be 'work related'!

The 14-year-old girl trapped in your patient's body!

There once was a little nerve. She lived in a usually safe space, surrounded by bone to protect her. Normally nothing bad happened here. One day however when her owner (a lovely fit large breed sporting dog) was getting into the car, she got pinched. Normally, the little nerve was able to tolerate a little poking or stretching, but today was a bit more than normal. Today, the pinch caused some inflammation. It didn’t hurt right
away but over the next little while it got a bit more sensitive. It caused the body to hold up a leg, to tuck the pelvis, and sometimes with the wrong movement it caused another pinch… and a yelp. As such the nerve was at a critical juncture…
Have you heard my 14-year-old girl story? It’s what I use to describe nerve pain.

I've put all of my exercises (and some of yours) onto a handy platform - Physiotec! It's a wonderful online resource for delivering home exercise / advice programs.
There are HUNDREDS of exercises FOURLEGEXERCISE.COM already! You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's
so much! Massage, Owner-friendly joint therapies, Exercises, Advisement, etc, etc.
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by / billed for separately, by... Physiotec... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to
FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
GO THERE... CHECK IT OUT!

Okay, so I had some questions about about the Forum, and I thought that I should pass on the info to everyone. - The Forum is located on the Members' side of FourLeg, so you'll need to login to find it. Then look over to the right hand column where you normally look up the content, and at the bottom, you'll find Forum. Click it!
- Now, to get on, you need to sign up with a NEW
username and password. (Password can be the same as what you you to get into the Member's area). Next time you want 'in', it should remember you.
- Pick a user name that you want displayed.
- Answer questions. Post questions.
- Sign your posts please... It's nice to reply to a person by name!
- If you
want to post a document or a picture, you can drag it into the message box or scroll down, click attachments, and then 'add files'.
- Videos... Upload to Youtube and then post the link.
- It's really cool when you sign your name, that way people can respond to you by name. :)
And get on there and engage with the community!
