Blog - Just a bunch of research articles related to IVDD Surgery
And I'm just going to redirect you to a Human Blog I did for a change!!
The life updates:
I'm just trying to enjoy the summer. Not going anywhere. Nothing special to do. But trying to just 'enjoy'. Hubby and I went out to the cottage on the weekend. (It was the first time since we had been back for a weekend since the August long weekend last year - after which he was diagnosed with cancer. We felt like we really had to push ourselves to go back, as we were both associating it with that bad news. Anyways,
I'm glad we went because it was nice and relaxing out there.)
I'm making kombucha (like a microbiome supporting fool) every weekend, and we are really upping our consumption of rhubarb crisp (keto) because the rhubarb has gone crazy!!
On the Covid front, we are wearing masks. Clients come in to the clinic, and we are busy. On the home front, I'm still not feeling comfortable with eating out in a restaurant - so we're ordering in occasionally still. Other than groceries and the post office or bank, I don't 'get out' other than work. (Not much of a stretch as a country-dweller anyways).
Alrighty, so enough about me...

A healthy microbiome (gut bacteria) is imperative for good health. Not only is it useful for proper digestive functioning, but having a flourishing microbiota is being shown to have a positive impact on musculoskeletal conditions (such as osteoarthritis) as well! Check this out! It should be useful for your patients as well as yourself!
Enjoy!

I’ve collected a number of research articles that I think the conclusion is the best part, or the only part we need to know as rehab professionals. So here goes! There's 5 of them!
Anyways, they’re all interesting to me! Hope you find them interesting as well. Cheers! Laurie

I've put all of my exercises (and some of yours) onto a handy platform - Physiotec! It's a wonderful online resource for delivering home exercise / advice programs.
There are HUNDREDS of exercises FOURLEGEXERCISE.COM already! You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's
so much! Massage, Owner-friendly joint therapies, Exercises, Advisement, etc, etc.
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by / billed for separately, by... Physiotec... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to
FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
GO THERE... CHECK IT OUT!

- Now, to get on, you need to sign up with a NEW
username and password. (Password can be the same as what you you to get into the Member's area). Next time you want 'in', it should remember you.
- Pick a user name that you want displayed.
- Answer questions. Post questions.
- Sign your posts please... It's nice to reply to a person by name!
- If you
want to post a document or a picture, you can drag it into the message box or scroll down, click attachments, and then 'add files'.
