What's new?
Well, hubby and I made it to the cottage on Saturday night. It's always a nice change of pace to go out there. However, instead of relaxing, we pressure washed the two decks so that they can be stained this week. (The staining I am having someone else do, because the timbers go up quite a ways and require scaffolding to access.) We are not good 'relaxers'... but I can honestly say that we love projects!
The new 'new' shelties arrived on Sunday night. (If you've not been following, one is a patient of mine - Xena who is 11, and the other is her sister, Karma who is 9). Their human mom passed away about a year and a half ago and now dad is looking to downsize into an apartment and can't keep them. I'm a sucker for shelties and a sad story. So far so good. They 'get along' with the borzoi (aka ignore), they are good in the house and yard. The one that was my patient
(Xena) is currently sleeping on my foot. So I think she and I are good. The other girl is waiting at the door... not sure what has happened (breaks my heart). Anyways, picture of our first walk is below. (Karma is the sable, and Xena is the blue merle.)
Other than that, I have another meeting with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario on Tuesday. We'll see how that goes!
I'm still asking for testimonials.
PLEASE, would any veterinarian that I have ever taught on the subject of canine rehab (assessment, treatment, exercise prescription, modalities, etc., etc.) - Live, or even if within FourLeg, please write me a letter of recommendation. The intention is to prove ME as a credible source on these topics. Crazy... but this has been suggested to me as a way to
help prove myself as a content expert when in discussions with the Vet Colleges (Vet Boards) up here! And, it doesn't matter where in the world you are from. PLEASE and THANK YOU!
(You can e-mail them to me at Laurie@FourLeg.com)
Okay! Enough about me!

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc,
etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the
Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!

Have a great week everyone!
Until next time... Cheers!
