So, the forum is fixed & it has a brand new look!
On quick check of the Forum, some of the previously uploaded photos might not be there... but we'll have to survive and move forwards.
Hubby and I got to the cottage on the weekend. Oldest son went to a party on Saturday - so we made him get a Covid-test before coming home. (In my province of Canada, they are making testing so readily available, that you can get tested just to know for your own peace of mind - and so the health authorities can determine how any asymptomatic carriers there are.) Anyways, he'll have to stay in the basement until the test comes back in a
couple of days. Small price to pay to not potentially kill his parents or shut down my business!!!
Other than that, Politics in Ontario has kept me busy... but I think we are making some headway as a voice of reason!
However, I'm still asking for a bit of help in this department.
PLEASE, would any veterinarian that I have ever taught on the subject of canine rehab (assessment, treatment, exercise prescription, modalities, etc., etc.) - Live, or even if within FourLeg, please write me a letter of recommendation. The intention is to prove ME as a credible source on these topics. Crazy... but it's where we're at! And, it
doesn't matter where in the world you are from. PLEASE and THANK YOU!

I was asked a question on this topic, so I did a PubMed search to find the answers. For Members, you will also find the full dialogue in the Forum. However, because I put in that time to do the literature search, I figured I'd use the information as this week's blog post.
"Is there any research to support or dispute there is delayed scarring in for dogs that have Cushing's disease, Diabetes, obesity or even old age with cranial cruciate ligament injuries, dogs with either with an extracap surgery or no surgery at all? It seems like more of these pups take longer to create any functional stability from the scar tissue when they have opted for conservative management.
Your thoughts?"

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc,
etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the
Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
